Customized strategies to explore your data
In my PhD work, I went under the hood of big data statistics, from the theory of what a number really is, to the inner workings of a multidimensional cloud of data, and the surprising elegance at the core of seemingly unrelated statistical methods.
I was trained in how the different types of statistical “moves” can be used to analyze various types of data, and to pursue various types of questions–questions such as how to identify groups, test group differences, identify key variables, predict outcomes, test stability, etc.
I taught these “moves” to researchers and students, and I applied these moves in my own research, in order to translate a data set into a story that can be understood by both scientists and by my Mom. (Hi, Mom!)
I love unpacking a complex idea or data set and repackaging it in a way that’s easy to absorb.
Please contact me to discuss your project and/or data set, and let’s explore!
